About Tampa Pool Renovation

We're a Tampa Bay quote service with one job: connect homeowners with pool contractors we'd hire ourselves — and publish honest, research-backed cost and finish guides so you know what a fair price looks like before anyone visits.

How we're different from a contractor's website

We don't do the work — and that's the point. Contractor websites tell you why they're the best choice. We research the whole Tampa market: what resurfacing actually costs here, which finishes hold up in Florida's climate, what warranties are standard, and which contractors have the licenses, insurance, and track record to do the job right. Then we match you with local pros and let you compare.

How to vet a pool contractor yourself

We connect you with local contractors — but you're the one doing the hiring. Here's the checklist we'd run before signing anything:

• Verify the Florida license — look for active state certification or registration, checkable through the state's contractor lookup
• Confirm insurance — ask for proof of general liability and workers' comp before work starts
• Check real resurfacing experience — hire contractors who do interior finishes for a living, not general handymen
• Get it in writing — finish brand, prep method, and warranty terms should all be specified in the quote
• Read recent reviews — look for patterns in complaints, not just the star rating

How we make money (and why it doesn't cost you extra)
